What is Health Coaching?
Health Coaching is a step-by-step process moving you towards your health and wellness goals. The coaching relationship empowers you to create permanent changes that you have found difficult to do on your own. As your Health Coach, I will provide you with support, educational resources, weight loss, and other health improvement tools and strategies, as well as one-on-one motivation to achieve your goals. Coaching can be done with live consultations or via the telephone and internet to ensure efficient use of your time.
How does health coaching work?
As individuals, each one of us has unique issues and lifestyle situations that require different tools and techniques to achieve optimal wellness. I will work within the uniqueness of you and your family’s lifestyle to develop a step-by-step program for you to achieve the weight loss, diet, health and/or nutrition goals you have always wanted. I will work with you to set up your plan, discuss initial steps to move you forward, support and educate you as you advance and hold you accountable for achieving your plan.

How much time is involved in health coaching?
Health Coaching does require a commitment of time from you. For optimal results, you will typically meet with me once a week. You will also be implementing changes each week to develop new health habits. The amount of time these changes take vary depending on your goals. The first steps start out as very small changes to guarantee your success and gradually build on each other. You will determine how much time you have to devote towards improving your health and wellness.
